A Bread Affair is looking for a **Sandwich Maker/Kitchen Helper **to join our team on Granville Island. Being on Granville Island, you will get to work in one of the most sought-after locations in Vancouver and work with our amazing staff.

**Schedule**:
Part-Time

Shift times vary between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

**Wage**: $17.75 per hour + Tips

**Key tasks for the role**:

- Working on the floor with your team
- Ensuring the fulfillment of all orders within A Bread Affair's quality standards
- Efficiently prepping the various ingredients used to create our sandwiches
- Closely following recipes to ensure the sandwiches are being made properly
- Strong finishing skills for our selections of sandwiches
- Maintaining the work area to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy work environment
- Assisting in other departments during peak business hours
- Love of innovation and being on the cutting edge

**Skills Required**:

- 1-year experience working in the food industry is an asset, but not required - We are willing to train the right person
- Precise attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exemplary verbal and written communication - English
- Motivation and willingness to learn and grow as a team
- Ablility to lift items up to 50 lbs
- Proven agility and responsiveness for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Efficient and creative problem solver - You are always looking for ways to improve systems and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills both for teamwork and customer service, with the equal ability to work independently
- Creativity and joy in solving problems
- A good sense of humor
