**Mac's Traders** is a well established family owned and operated **Scrap Metal Recycling facility located in Langley.**

We currently have openings for **Permanent Full Time **Scrap Metal Processor **positions. We are seeking hard-working, reliable, self-motivated individuals to join our team.

This position would include, but not be limited to, handling customer weigh scale transactions, sorting of various metals, processing of various metals, and use of various power tools/equipment. Previous experience is an asset, but not necessary; We can train you

**Our STARTING wage is $22-25 per hour (dependent on previous experience and job performance), WITH Extended Health & Dental Benefits** included after a 3 month probationary period. **Wage can increase rapidly within a short period of time based on performance.** There is opportunity for overtime work if desired.

**GENERAL WORK DUTIES**:

- Identifying and processing of various metals _*we will train you, no experience required*_
- General customer assistance including unloading of various metals
- General cleaning/organizing/sweeping of work areas
- Use of power tools such as chop saws/grinders/cutting torches
- Quality control/assurance during sorting/processing stages
- Safety conscious while performing all tasks, from start to finish
- Opportunity to run equipment such as forklift, bobcat, baler, alligator shear

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Currently residing in Canada/Local
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Basic numerical skills
- Basic computer understanding
- Steel toed boots
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Physical stamina and strength
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Capable of lifting 40 lbs minimum
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Compliance with all company policies
- Effort and enthusiasm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
