Innis & Gunn is PMA’s flagship imported premium beer which has grown to over 200,000 9L cases and over $11 million in retail sales value. The Innis & Gunn team are direct representatives of the brewery, embedded within the PMA organization to drive the business.
**Responsibilities**:
**Role Mission**
It will be your mission to bring the Innis & Gunn brand to life and grow affinity with customers and consumers alike as well as showcasing our brand in all the right places. You’ll inspire everyone you encounter with our beers, brand message and will exemplify our values of Originality, Perseverance, Confidence and being free spirited. You will directly contribute to positive shifts in our brand image.
You’ll be required to win prestige accounts, forge partnerships with retailers, influencers and tastemakers. You’ll plan and host events, be an articulate spokesperson and you’ll work closely with the trade on an advocacy programme.
**Required Duties**
- Brand Expert: Provide brand education and best in class training
sessions to engage with PMA sales team, retailers, and consumers as
you become the voice for the brand in Canada.
- Commercial Plans: Collaborate with PMA sales to identify key on
premise accounts for draught and packaged beer, execute
programs/promotions to gain visibility in these accounts that will
convey our brand message.
- Strategy Implementation: Bring the brand’s channel strategy to life
through activity that drives brand advocacy.
- Retail Support: Drive our sales strategy with retailers and the PMA
team across provincial and private retailers.
- Partnerships: Form brand partnerships with people and businesses
who carry genuine influence to reinforce our beer brands positioning
and image. This could be media, social media influencers, high profile
retailers. In target cities your job will be making us appear in places
that share the brands values, be they unexpected places or very high
profile ones.
- Events: Identify, pitch and manage special beer events to accelerate
recruitment into the Innis & Gunn brand.
- Reporting: Preparation of reports on activations, brand engagement,
promotional activity & competitive activity.

Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
- Beer: Passion for and knowledge of beer.
- Draught beer experience preferred
- Self-motivated, full of banter, competitive and supportive of
teammates.
- Communication: Clear and timely internal and external
communication is key to the success in this role.
- Time-Management and Planning: Ability to prioritize and work in a
fast-paced but rewarding environment.
- Sales Skills: Structured sales call, negotiation skills and commercial
selling.
- Data Analysis: Ability to find information within data and use it to
build effective plans.
- Category Knowledge: Working knowledge & understanding of other
brand (product variants & sales activations).
- Flexibility: Prepared to travel as well as work evenings and weekends.
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Power Point,
Word, Outlook).
- Valid driving license & car.
