**About the opportunity**

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for locating, evaluating and completing the purchase of pre-owned vehicles for resale from auto auctions, customers and other dealers. Specifically:

- evaluate and appraise customer vehicles using state of the art software
- provide customers with a free, no-obligation appraisal value for their vehicle
- meet customers and explain that the dealership is interested in purchasing their vehicle
- collect and report data and analytics to sales management
- innovate and create new methods of acquiring pre-owned vehicles for the dealership inventory from various sources
- track and maintain a database of customers and their vehicles for follow-up purposes
- review vehicle condition reports
- determine wholesale and retail prices
- handle shipping vehicles to the dealership
- inspect and accept vehicles arriving on site
- resolve discrepancies regarding condition inspections and actual condition at arrival
- create and execute reconditioning action plan to prepare vehicle for retail

**About you.**
- three (3) years proven experience in vehicle sales
- experience assessing and appraising vehicles
- strong customer service background
- proficiency working with ERP and Customer Database/Relationship Management systems
- strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- proven ability to influence change and effectively lead projects
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- ability to maintain internal controls
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
