Linehaul Coordinator

We are seeking a well-rounded individual to join our team at our Mississauga location. The position covers various aspects; dispatching, coordinating linehaul operations, and on the weekends, some mínimal warehouse duties with the forklift.

**This is a salary position**, **starting at $50,000** with a bump up of $10,000 after the 1st year and another $10,000 after the 2nd year meaning **you will make $70,000 in just 2 years. Full health benefits included.**

We are looking for someone who wants to look for opportunities as they become available in the business and move up in the company.

**5 days/week: Wednesday to Sunday**

**Hours**:
Wed-Fri: 12pm - 8pm (8 hours/day)
Sat & Sun: 6am - 6pm (12 hours/day)

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 5 years experience in the freight & logistics industry**:

- **Minimum 2 years as a dispatcher**:

- **Forklift License**:

- Understand how a truck network moves and operates
- **Drive and initiative is a must**; you will be by yourself for the most part on the weekends, and we need someone who will take initiative and not only do the mínimal amount
- Positive attitude with good people skills
- Ability to quickly learn new software

**Responsibilities**:

- Update customers on truckloads or any delays
- If a truck breaks down, source somebody to fix the matter
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers
- Coordinate and modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and establish new routes for timely deliveries
- Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information
- Cover some warehouse duties
