Apprentice Fitness Equipment Service Technician

**About Us**

For over 33 years, Exer-Tech has provided commercial gyms, corporate fitness centers and residential clients with superb repair and maintenance services. We are currently seeking to fill a position for an Apprentice Fitness Equipment Service Technician

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Perform exercise equipment maintenance and repair in both commercial and residential settings throughout the Ottawa/Gatineau region.

Assemble new equipment as well as disassemble and relocate fitness equipment for our commercial clients.

Training will be provided by the company.

**Requirements**:
A good driving record

Your own reliable transportation - a vehicle allowance is provided to you

Aptitude for and/or interest in mechanical and electrical systems

Able to lift heavy equipment - some equipment and parts may weigh upwards of 75 lbs. The company does provide necessary equipment that assist in your task (dollies, lifts)

Must have proof of vaccination

Must be able to pass Criminal records check

Able to work alone once trained, or with a Team

Bilingualism is an asset

**Benefits**

Full time (40 hours/week) with some flexibility in workdays possible (e.g., Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat)

Sundays and evenings off

Salary is $17 per hour plus vehicle allowance during apprenticeship period of 3 months

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
