As Product Development Manager for Capital’s Canadian products, you’ll be focused on the management and development of Canadian mandates for both retail and institutional business lines. The Product Development Manager will have a strong passion for investing in general, as they will need to cover all asset classes. You will be instrumental in helping to build and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap to deliver on business plan commitments.

- Develop the long-term product strategy for each market/client segment.
- Lead the product development process, which includes idea generation, opportunity assessment, product evaluation, business case development and the execution of product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Identify product development trends and long-term client opportunities.
- Assess current product lineup, digital tools and product enhancements in collaboration with various groups.
- Conduct rigorous analysis in the creation and development of product roadmaps, competitive intelligence, product research and initiatives.
- Participate in projects impacting the product line, ensuring products and services are competitive and meet the long-term strategic direction of Capital Group Canada.
- Moves initiatives through the product development process, considering product features, structures, investment strategies, pricing, and user experience.
- Provide the sales team and other internal partners with knowledge and training for all new product launches including the development of thought leadership, product marketing collateral, FAQs and investment content for the use in all channels.
- Help in delivering quarterly client and regulatory materials and work closely with all members of IPR.
