As a Senior Assembly Integration & Test Senior Technician, you will be part of the first Canadian production team of PASQAL, building a world-class quantum computer,
in one of the most advanced technological fields shaping the 21st century. Based on your
knowledge and experience in opto-mechanical systems, your role is to build our quantum computers from assembly of components to commissioning.

The facility is located at the Espace Quantique 1, a unique building under rehabilitation that will house quantum companies at the Quebec Quantum Innovation Zone. Being among our firsts employees in CANADA to launch the facility, you will have a

direct impact on the company. Your mission will start with the manufacturing of a first generation quantum computer and then start again with a second generation in the coming years.

Your mission:

- Check components quality in coordination with the facility & supply chain manager
- Assemble sub-systems of the Quantum Processing Unit (QPU)
- Test sub-systems performance
- Integrate sub-systems to build the QPU
- Run tests procedure to ensure the quality of the whole system
- Participate in ramp-up campaigns in quantum computing
- Transfer knowledge to operations team
- Be active in feedback to give to Engineering teams
- Prepare modifications for next generation of quantum computers
- Be involved in manufacturing good practices and general quality management

The work will be based in Sherbrooke facility. Position to be filled for June latest. We are

interested to start with people available to work for a few months in France ideally for training (though not required). This opportunity to be a part of and mentored by a team currently building in France one of the most promising quantum computers is unique You will then return and have the room to express your talents in North America.

**About you**
To do this job successfully, you will need exceptional hands on Production environment experience in the following:

- 5+ years professional work experience in a high technology industrial sector
- Strong knowledge in assembling and test mechanical and electronic systems.
- English: full professional proficiency is essential (written and oral). French as a second language a plus but not re-quired.
- Team player, versatile, organized, pro-active, autonomous and creative, to find pragmatic and efficient solutions.
- Able to anticipate, delivery oriented and devoted to reduce lead time facing scientific and technical high challenge
- Strong basic knowledge on quality management and good manufacturing practices

- Optical or laser experience
- Experience in scientific equipment manufacturing or deep tech
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Technical writing experience
- Immediate availability with an authorization to work in France
