**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Controller and Director, Corporate Finance, this role offers the chance to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful impact in managing risk within the organization**.**As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading Plannera’s Risk Management Program, which includes an enterprise and operational risk management plans;
- Leading Plannera’s Business Continuity Risk Management Program;
- Leading Plannera’s insurance program;
- Supporting the organization’s procurement activities including management of corporate contracts; and
- Supporting the organization’s privacy risk management.
You will be:
- Collaborative and people-centered and able to build strong partnerships across the organization;
- An approachable and effective communicator skilled at guiding senior leadership through risk management;
- A leader who will influence, advise, and engage with all levels of the organization;
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to balance risk identification with practical recommendations;
- Analytical and a critical thinker who is able to interpret complex information and provide clear insights; and
- A supervisor with the ability to mentor and oversee one direct report.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a combination of:
- Risk Management designation or equivalent certification.
- 3-5 years experience in the field of risk management.
- 3-5 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
