**About the Role**

As a **Retail Sales & Merchandising Associate**, you'll be the face of TressLove at local markets, pop-up shops, and vendor events. You’ll be responsible for creating beautiful product displays, engaging with customers, sharing our story, and making sure every shopper leaves with a smile (and some TressLove magic in their hands).

This role is ideal for someone who loves style, storytelling, and creating aesthetic retail experiences.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up and take down TressLove displays at markets and events
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product layouts
- Educate customers on product features, materials, and sustainability values
- Drive on-site sales by creating a warm and engaging shopping experience
- Handle transactions using POS system
- Represent TressLove’s mission, values, and aesthetic with pride
- Capture behind-the-scenes content for social media (optional but encouraged)

**Who You Are**
- Passionate about hair, style, and sustainable fashion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently at events
- Able to lift display materials and set up booths (light to moderate effort)
- Flexible to work on weekends and during community events/pop-ups
- Bonus: Experience in retail, sales, or visual merchandising
- Have a valid driving license and willing to drive to various locations of pop-up markets.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
