**Job Purpose**

Responsible for processing invoices, data entry into ERP systems and overall assistance with Accounts Payable activities for the Brampton location.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Data entry of invoices in ERP and data systems
- Accurately match invoices with packing slips
- Accurately match invoices with cheques
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly entered
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail
- Responsible for ordering office supplies
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Verify discrepancies and report any client billing issues appropriately
- File records away, maintaining organization, and retrieving files as necessary
- Additional related duties as deemed necessary by Management.

**Qualifications**
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- Previous AP/AR experience considered an asset;
- Strong command of English language: both oral and written;
- Basic computer skills for updating reports in Microsoft Office;
- Very good math skills;
- Very good prioritizing skills;
- Attention to detail.

**Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:
Fast-paced environment (office), using office equipment, computers, telephone and attending meetings; Working under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The incumbent may have to work additional hours to complete special requests and/or projects.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
