**Position Summary**:
The Executive Assistant provides executive level administration to the VP of Operations, Fraser Salish Region and reports directly to the Manager of Regional Operations. The Executive Assistant demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, initiative and independence, as well as the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes and shifting deadlines. The position requires meticulous tracking and follow-up on various action items and ensures the completion of the assignment or task in a timely manner on behalf of the VP of Operations. Flexibility, responsiveness and rapid availability are essential.
**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides senior administrative support to the VP of Operations, Fraser Salish Region including calendar management, correspondence management, call management, preparation of agendas, meeting materials, travel arrangements and request management.
- Implements, and maintains appropriate administrative systems, procedures, processes, and standards.
- Tracks all incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents and files as necessary.
- Coordinates and oversees the organization of VP and ELT meetings and presentations, including all associated logistics in collaboration with colleagues and other FNHA departments, as appropriate as well as meeting minutes for the VP of Operations, Fraser Salish Region as needed.

**Qualifications**:
Education
- A diploma in business/office administration, plus 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including support at VP level, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Experience
- Experience in a senior administration capacity, supporting VP level or higher positions
- Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
- Experience working with Senior and Executive level management
- Experience responding to client/public enquiries and complaints
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner
- Experience developing and maintain administrative systems, processes and procedures
**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
- Knowledge of the FNHA, and its structure and inter-dependencies
- Knowledge of information, records and data management approaches and options
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including the ability to multi-task and set priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and other software, including organization standard Project Management software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to high quality work
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
