As an Arborist Ground Worker, you’ll be a key member of our crew—supporting climbers and arborists while gaining hands-on experience in arboriculture. This is an excellent entry-level role with opportunities to advance into climbing and arborist positions.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist arborists with pruning, removals, and hazard tree operations
- Operate and maintain equipment (chainsaws, chippers, rigging systems)
- Manage ropes, rigging lines, and safe lowering of branches and wood
- Implement worksite and traffic safety procedures
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Assist with driving, loading, and unloading equipment

**Qualifications**
- Passion for working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and dependable
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn as part of a team
- Valid BC Driver’s License (Class 5) required; Air Brake or Class 3 an asset
- Chainsaw and First Aid certification an asset (training available)
- Experience in tree work, landscaping, or construction an asset, but not required

**Compensation & Growth**
- $22 - $28 per hour, based on experience and certifications
- Part-time to start, with potential for full-time
