Practice Leader, Deployment

In collaboration with our internal and external partners, the incumbent will establish the roadmap for future deployments of our digital services and solutions for our clients and advisors across Canada. Upstream of execution, the Practice Leader, Deployment & Support for the distribution network will contribute to the delivery strategy for major initiatives and influence sector priorities. Downstream, the incumbent will coordinate all cross-functional deployment activities, including training and communication activities.
- Main duties:_
- Responsible for the global vision of Canada-wide Individual Insurance deployments
- Establish the roadmap for future deployments of our digital services and solutions for our clients and advisors
- Contribute to the delivery strategy for major initiatives and influence sector priorities
- Enhance the deployment methodology, processes and tools (market best practices)
- Coordinate all cross-functional deployment activities
- Coordinate support activities for our distribution networks
- Identify and mitigate the impacts related to interdependencies between projects and their deployment
- Identify deployment constraints, risks and requirements and ensure that they are addressed using integrated deployment strategies
- Define specific activities to ensure the adoption of initiatives by minimizing change impacts and managing deployment risks
- In charge of cross-functional deployment management committees
- Act as the leader of the deployment and support cell for the distribution network and puts in place the means to materialize expected benefits
- Your career path looks like this:_
- Passionate about deployment and change management
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, communication, marketing or another relevant field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in managing large-scale deployments, change management or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in a multidisciplinary coordination role
- Excellent ability to understand and anticipate the impacts of changes on stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Autonomous, resourceful and dynamic
- Able to work in complex environments and in the context of transformation with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of the insurance industry (asset)
- Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal French
- and English-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada
