**Position Overview**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Lead the implementation of the Schaefer Maintenance Philosophy (SMP) across sites to ensure standardized processes and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction in RM operations.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer contracts and agreed responsibilities, ensuring that all service levels are consistently met or exceeded, and that the company delivers on its commitments as a trusted partner.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs to ensure performance meets defined service and quality standards.
- Support the launch of new RM sites by ensuring seamless implementation of the SMP concept from the outset, actively contributing to training, capability building, and quality assurance of new contracts.
- Collaborate with regional and global RM teams to align strategies, share best practices, and maintain consistency.
- Provide hands-on support to site managers and teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures, promoting a strong culture of excellence.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, proposing corrective actions and improvement measures proactively.
- Other duties assigned.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
The RM Compliance Manager will provide direct leadership and guidance to RM Site Managers within Canada. This includes setting clear expectations, supporting professional development, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

The role is responsible for coaching site managers in operational excellence, monitoring their performance against defined KPIs, and ensuring consistent delivery of customer-focused service across all sites.

While not directly responsible for RM Site Managers in the United States, the role will work in close partnership with the United States RM leadership peer to support the implementation of the SMP concept and ensure consistent delivery of agreed service levels across both countries.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance Management or a related technical field.
- ** Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, process improvement, or maintenance excellence roles, ideally within industrial, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- ** Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of maintenance methodologies (FMEA, MTTR, MTBF, TPM, 5S, RCA, CMMS, PM) and KPI-driven performance management.
- ** Leadership**: Proven experience leading teams or site managers, with strong coaching, mentoring, and change management capabilities.
- ** Project Management**: Demonstrated ability to lead and support project rollouts, ensuring timely, high-quality implementation of processes and standards.
- ** Customer Orientation**: Ability to interpret contract requirements and service-level agreements, ensuring consistent delivery of agreed performance standards.
- ** Analytical Skills**: Strong problem-solving, conceptual, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify risks, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
- ** Communication**: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels and regions.
- ** IT Proficiency**: Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with maintenance management systems is an asset.
- ** Mobility**: Willingness to travel up to 50% to support sites and projects as required.
