This is a full-time permanent job opportunity working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking full-time Construction Helper to join our team.

**What you will do**:

- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to different areas
- Clean/organize construction sites as needed - sweep floors, remove garbage, debris, etc. and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist carpenters, cutting, measuring and installation of materials.
- Assist in demolishing buildings
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Mix, pour and spread materials
- Level earth to fine grade specifications
- Erect and dismantle, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience; preferably with construction / handyperson experience.
- High level of reliability, initiative, proactive problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding responsibilities and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use hand and power tools (i.e., cordless drill, hammer, speed square, tape measure, utility knife, nail puller/pry bar
- A valid driver’s license.
- Steel-toed boots and a mobile phone
