**Job Overview**
As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. This position requires a passion for coffee and customer service, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that each customer receives exceptional service and that all products meet our quality standards.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold company policies regarding food safety and cleanliness.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Proficient in cash handling with basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
