As a 3D Environment Artist, you create a variety of high-quality artistic assets. While respecting artistic direction, you contribute to the maps and environment aesthetic by developing visual targets. You also collaborate with other specialties in designing game spaces and ensure game playability.

**Requirements**:
**Responsibilities**
- Create models and assemble scenes for organic and architectural environments based on a given narrative.
- Participate in the development of shaders, textures, and lighting for the final rendering of levels.
- Build briefs and assemble reference material.
- Collaborate with the design team to overcome art/design challenges.
- Ensure that the art style is consistent with the overall artistic direction.

**Qualifications**
- Several years of experience creating 3D environments for games.
- Online portfolio with examples of 3D elements created from start to finish.
- Familiarity with a 3D game engine.
- Intermediate to senior level experience with a modeling package like 3DS Max or Maya.
- Familiarity with Photoshop or Substance Designer/Painter.
- Understanding of a 3D sculpting program like ZBrush.
- Spoken and written language fluency in French and English. Due to the role's interaction with global entities, employees, and stakeholders in Canada, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Portfolio showing skills in composition and visual narration.
- Experience with the Unreal Engine is a strong plus.
