**Overview**:
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing cooperation with 3rd party NDE service provider to perform NDE work, verifying NDE work for quality and accuracy, and performing similar functional duties as needed. The NDE Technician works closely with production and project management team to fulfill client expectations, scheduling, technical assignments, and monitoring of the daily NDE activities.

**Primary Duties**:

- Having welding inspection CWB Level II or VT is added advantage.
- Conduct Penetrant test, Magnetic particle test & PMI test at shop floor.
- Preparing the NDE reports and get approval from Authorized inspector.
- Communicate with Third party NDT team to conduct the radiography test, ultrasound test and review the Report.
- Collaborating with production and project management team to oversee and coordinate daily NDE activities.
- Adhere to the NDE procedures that NDE Level III has written.
- Reviewing updated codes and standards and assess impact on internal written NDE procedures.

**Safety**
- Ensuring a safe workplace, including compliance with established safety laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.

**Must Have Qualifications**:

- Current Valid SNT-TC-1A or CGSB 48.9712 certification for Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level II is mandatory.
- 5 years detailed experience working as a welding QC inspector/coordinator for pressure equipment.
- CWB CSA or CWB certification for structural steel is an asset.
- Relevant trade experience is an asset.
