**Job Overview**:
**Requirements**:

- **Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.**:

- Minimum 3 years of current, relevant pharmacy practice experience (community or hospital).
- Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with NAPRA competencies, CCAPP standards, and pharmacy education best practices.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures and practical demonstrations to students pursuing careers in the pharmacy field
- Prepare and review teaching materials in advance, ensuring they are kept up to date and aligned with curriculum goals
- Collaborate with the academic team to develop and refine the curriculum in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide ongoing academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students while maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment
- Evaluate student performance, grade assignments, and offer constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
- Stay current with developments in the pharmacy and healthcare sectors and integrate relevant knowledge into your teaching
- Contribute to faculty meetings and interdisciplinary academic initiatives
- Maintain professionalism in all communications with students and staff
- Collaborate with the administrative team and report to the Academic Director or Campus Director as required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy Technician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Pharmacy Technician Registration (required)
