At Metalcraft the polisher employees’ fine tune and prepare sheet metal products in-between production stages, as it goes down the assembly process.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Polish all necessary surfaces of materials using stationary belt grinder and buffing machine through powered hand grinders, various types of grades of buff wheels bits, pads, and compounds.

2. Remove all defects using an electric or air buffer/grinder etc.

3. Inspect all parts before and after polishing

4. Communicate any problems to the supervisor in a timely manner

5. Select and use appropriate polishing pads, discs, pads, and compounds for the required finish

6. Heavy grinding of welds to polish smooth and return weldment to specific dimensions and finishes

7. Perform daily safety checks and maintain equipment in good working order. Must keep clean, orderly, and safe work area.

8. Perform other duties in the shop as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
