The WWC is looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as Birthday Party and Special Event hosts

We offer an after school program, seasonal camps, childcare in club and in home, birthday party hosting, specialty youth programming and events. This employment opportunity is primarily evening and weekend hours.

Applicants must have completed a criminal record and child abuse registry check.

**As a Junior Recreation Team Member, a typical day might include the following**:

- Meeting and greeting a tonne of familiar and unfamiliar faces
- Ensure the child’s environment is healthy and safe
- Communicate positively and build trust with parents
- Hosting birthday and special events and enhancing the energy of the events by making it fun for all of our guests
- Decorating and tear down for special events and birthdays
- Planning and coordinating activities for special events

**To land this role you need to have;**
- Experience working with children from six weeks old to 12 years old is required
- All team members must have current CPR/First Aid certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment
- A recent Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector) prior to commencement of training and/or work.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Permanent

**Salary**: $13.75-$14.00 per hour
