Huntington Properties is a well-established, Ottawa based, multi-faceted real-estate development and management Company with expertise in all sectors of commercial and residential real estate and a focus on acquiring, developing and managing real-estate assets.
We are a dynamic and tight-knit Real Estate Team looking for a **Site Manager **to support and elevate the success of the business by coordinating on site repairs and maintenance. This position is a full-time role and will provide support to the Property Management team.
This position envisions a forward-facing, customer service role and hands on role with duties as follows:
- Complete minor repairs as required through common areas and exteriors.
- Provide exceptional tenant service
- Respond to tenant communications and requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Resolve or repair minor building issues as required
- Asses significant building issues to determine proper course of action or necessary contractor engagement
- Communicate and meet with contractors in various fields to obtain proposals for repairs or maintenance
- Coordinate maintenance or repair visits with contractors and tenants
- Ensure mínimal disruption is imposed during any repairs or maintenance visits
- Ensure quality of work meets acceptable standards
- Conduct regular building and property inspections to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance practices are being followed
- Notify supervisor of any significant building issues or deficiencies requiring extensive planning or repairs
- Prepare reports for various projects capturing start to finish progress, monthly maintenance schedules, and tenant correspondences
- Ensure proper paperwork is submitted for any contract or repair expenses
- Ensure contracts are current and fulfilled to specification
- Work with other internal departments and communicate details about all aspects of the portfolio
- Share various information relating to any on site requirements and issues

- General understanding of mechanical systems within a commercial building
- Ability to complete various repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, drywall repairs
- Must have availability for emergency on call
**Employment type**: Full-time (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
**Compensation**: $50,000 to $55,000 per annum. Extended Health & Dental care.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
