Our Sarnia station is looking for an **Operations Coordinato**r

The **Operations Coordinato**r is responsible for the dispatching and tracking of equipment and personnel, assigned or working at their station. This role provides support in a fast paced, high call volume office environment and will assist in completing operational and data entry tasks as necessary in a timely and accurate manner.

Directly reports to: Station Manager

**Responsibilities of the Operations Coordinator include, but not limited to**:

- Review and understand all operational processes
- Handle emergency phone calls from clients and follow the proper notification and mobilization procedures as outlined in the Emergency Response Protocol
- Constant communication with Station Manager and administrative staff relating to any anomalies that would impact employee work / travel hours, employee performance or safety related issues
- Daily utilization of the Operations / Station Day log and SPIRA operations system
- Constant communication with field personal to advise of traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, weight restrictions, weather conditions, and other hazards
- When creating jobs, ensuring the client coding such as P.O.#s or other mandatory information is included on the Dispatch ticket to the field
- Fully understand and assist with administering all company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Always maintain a professional and diplomatic manner when representing the company which includes remaining alert and cogent during evenings and weekends
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all HSE Integrated policies, procedures, products, and services
- Logistically move equipment and personnel in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Assist administrative staff in reconciling and price checking field work-orders, purchase orders and other job costs (hotel billing)
- Troubleshoot incidents that occur with field personnel regarding equipment failures/breakdowns and directions
- Maintain productivity in high pressure situations and remain engaged when activity is slow
- Be available after hours and weekends to provide support as required to perform post incident Drug and Alcohol testing
- Available to attend the office after hours and weekends when required, to ensure that field tickets, job sheets and equipment are ready for field deployment
- Maintain high levels of communication with other members of the Operations Coordination team
- Perform other duties as required

**Supervisors Safety Responsibilities**:

- Execute reasonable judgement to ensure the health and safety of the workers under their supervision
- Ensure all workers under their direction are adequately trained in the given task, knowledgeable of the with equipment and effectively supervised throughout the job
- Maintain cyclical and as required safety tasks as directed by the health and safety program and jurisdictional health and safety legislation
- Regularly communicate with employees regarding occupational health and safety, observing performance for compliance to the program
- Immediately notify and liaise with the health and safety department regarding OH&S visits, inspection or inquiries and health or safety related incidents

**Required Qualifications**:

- Previous relevant safety experience and/or a minimum 3 years of field experience, with knowledge of equipment and personnel requirements for Air, Medical, Fire/Shower, Industrial and Special Services
- Able to deal with clients and employees in a respectful and professional manner
- Able to work well under pressure
- Flexible, able to deal with change
- Strong attention to detail
- Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

**Required Certifications & Training**:

- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid / CPR
- High level of competency using Microsoft Office programs
- Valid unrestricted license with full driving privileges in the province of issue for the specified class of vehicle to be operated on behalf of the company or a higher class of license than that of the vehicle to be operated.
- Experience with P21
- HSE Orientation
- Petroleum Safety Training (PST) / Construction Safety Training System (CSTS)
- EGSO ~ Enform
- Coordinator / leadership training
- Additional training and certifications may be necessary to meet client specifications.
