**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking methods, and meal presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is a plus but not required.
