Berwick Royal Oak Beach retirement residence & Marquise Hospitality are looking for dependable, reliable, patient, and honest workers. You must be able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, and have an ability to work well with seniors.

**Berwick Royal Oak and **Marquise Hospitality** are looking for a Full-Time, Food and Beverage Team Lead.

**Wages**:

- $20.97 per hour (Single Site Order: Base pay + $3.97 per hour)
- Base Pay: $17.00 per hour
- Single Site Order can end at any time

**Specific Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Takes orders and serves meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner as per outlined standards.
- Enhances resident and guest meal time experiences by exceeding customer service expectations.
- Assist in the set up and preparation for service of various items such as beverages, salads, desserts, etc
- Set and clear dining areas and deliver tray service as required.
- Assist with function catering, and actively participate in special occasions and theme events.
- Oversees the activities of the servers and other dining room personnel.
- Takes a lead role in organization and execution of site functions and private dining events.
- Maintains a good working environment.
- Trains dining staff to exceed standards.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Plans and directs activities related to the preparation and service of meals.
- Ensures the quality of the food meets/exceeds standards.
- Assists Director of Hospitality and Dining Services Manager with scheduling, payroll, H&S compliance and other administrative duties.
- Follow and comply with health and safety legislation and departmental safe work procedures.
- Comply with all provincial regulations and established department policies and procedures.
- Other reasonable duties outlined by Management.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 to 2 years of experience as a server.
- Current Basic Foodsafe Certificate
- Current First Aid - level 1 for industry
- Attention to detail a must.
- The ability to make decisions and be held accountable.
- Interpersonal skills, teamwork, collaboration, leadership, adaptability, dependability and excellent communication skill are required.
- Excellent personal grooming, confidence, integrity, ability to manage stress, dynamism, energy, autonomy, initiative, availability, flexibility and orientation toward quality are required.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and readily acceptable to change work priorities at any time.

Important note**:A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment. Tuberculosis Screening Test results will also be required.**

**Additional Information**

Berwick Royal Oak is conveniently located on Elk Lake Drive on bus routes 35 and 72. The Royal Oak Bus Exchange, which has stops for routes 6, 9, 30, 31, 32, 39, 70, 71, 75 and 83, is less than a five minute walk away. Limited associate parking is also available.
