**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and materials.
- Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families about progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize technology and educational resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Assist students in developing study skills, organizational skills, and effective writing techniques.

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more languages such as Spanish, French is highly desirable.
- Strong command of the English language with the ability to educate students effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- A passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically.
- Previous tutoring experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $18.71-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
