**Job Function Overview**

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator role is an excellent opportunity for growth in a career of Marketing. The Social Media Marketing Coordinator would execute and manage social media strategies, collaborate and work closely with the Marketing Director to help better influence Gincor’s social media platform. The individual would also continuously monitor the social media outlets and jump on trends relevant to our audience and market conditions. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Build and implement a social media strategy
- Develop content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Create a social media calendar, including schedule and/or publish posts in a timely manner
- Coordinate advertising campaigns on social media platforms within a given budget
- Social media monitoring and analytics
- Create monthly reports and make recommendations to improve outcomes
- Perform other duties, as required

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- University or College degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in Social Media Marketing (preferred)
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to adopt various communications tones and styles to align with established brand marketing content
- Experience with influencer marketing strategies
- Experience with design and video editing software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro) is considered an asset
- Knowledge of web development and/or content management platforms is considered an asset (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, WooCommerce, Magento, Craft CMS etc)
- Portfolio available upon request
