**Hiring Hiring Hiring ORDER PICKER ASSOCIATE**

SCHEDULE: 8-hour shift, 5-days a week (Monday - Friday)

PAY RATE: $21/hr.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING**:

- Pick and pack product as per customer specification and pick ticket/packing slip.
- Trained and licensed forklift/reach truck operator.
- Ensure shipments are well secured on pallet.
- Load and unload product from trucks or containers.
- Stage product for proper receiving.
- Fill racks in a secure and organized way.
- Report any damaged product or equipment immediately to Supervisor.
- Performs tasks to achieve and maintain a very clean environment throughout the warehouse.
- Represent the company when interacting with drivers and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING STANDARDS REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING**:

- Follows all EH&S guidelines and policy.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Keep area free of debris, spills, and unnecessary items.
- Deposit material in appropriate receptacle (garbage, scrap).
- Correct and report any unsafe condition immediately.
- Is always alert and attentive to the work environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Intermediate Computer Skills: MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse or shipping environment preferable in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and through written material.
- The employee is regularly required to stand and balance.
- The employee is regularly required to bend, stoop and twist.
- The employee is regularly required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50-$19.27 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
