**Responsibilities**:

- Manage pipe crew, equipment, and subtrades to complete a project on time/budget
- Collaborate with Superintendent, Project Management Team, and Clients to ensure all aspects of the project are completed as expected
- Reading construction drawings, coordinating the days tasks, and managing associated paperwork
- Leader in health and safety as well as company culture
- Planning for upcoming pipe work and communicating requirements to the Superintendent and Project Management Team
- Working with the pipe crew for all operations including earthworks, excavation, determining proper grades, and installation of pipe
- particularly installation of utilities (water, sanitary, storm)

Skills and Experience:

- Prefer 4+ years of pipe experience in civil construction with at least one year supervising other employees
- Ability to lead, motivate, and promote growth within your crew
- municipal Ability to read and understand construction drawings, municipal design standards, and standard details
- Familiar with mass excavation, grades, and pipe work - particularly installation of utilities
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, specifications, equipment, and OH&S guidelines
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and positive team attitude

**Requirements**:

- Must have a current and valid Class 5 driver’s license/ drivers abstract
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

Survey experience is considered an asset

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
