**The Opportunity**:
**We are seeking an exceptional individual to take on the dynamic and challenging role of Legal Assistant - Commercial Conveyancer, supporting our Commercial Conveyancing Department in Lethbridge, Alberta.**

**Responsibilities include**:

- **Drafting, preparing, and organizing general correspondence and legal documents related to commercial conveyancing.**:

- **Managing and maintaining legal and administrative files, including indexing, tracking, and ensuring file integrity.**:

- **Conducting and reviewing searches related to real estate transactions, including Personal Property Registries, Bankruptcy, Land Titles, Corporate, and Bank of Canada records.**:

- **Drafting and registering security documentation such as guarantees, General Security Agreements (GSAs), postponements, and other financing instruments.**:

- **Receiving, sorting, and prioritizing transaction documents, and preparing and maintaining detailed file checklists for closings.**:

- **Assisting lawyers with transaction preparation and coordination, including liaising with realtors, lenders, and opposing counsel.**:

- **Preparing and organizing client reporting documentation following transaction completion.**:

- **Utilizing a solid background in corporate law to review minute books, analyze share structures, and assist with share purchase transactions requiring both corporate and financing expertise.**:

- **Drafting corporate resolutions and supporting documentation as needed.**:

- **Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal software such as Cosmolex, Unity, and NetDocs is considered an asset.**
