**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.

**Experience**
- Dental assisting techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Abeldent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist can be beneficial for managing patient interactions effectively.

Pay: From $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 34 per week
