**Change Management Specialist **for a
**full-time opportunity.**

**Role**:
The Change Management Specialist is responsible for providing strategic leadership and advice to all aspects of Change Management and Communication of large, multifaceted enterprise-level projects from original project initiation through to final implementation. Using structured change management approaches, the Change Management Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize end-user adoption and usage of required changes which will ensure the successful utilization of new processes and technologies. Working closely with the Senior Project Managers, and in relation to their assigned IT Capital Projects, the Change Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring that process changes and transformation required for the implementation of new academic solutions, as well as related policy changes, are achieved in a timely way to support implementation milestones. The incumbent develops and leads communications and engagement plans to support future state design for their functional portfolio, identifies change impacts for people, process, data, and technology, and creates and deploys strategies, plans, and materials to support community stakeholders in understanding and adapting to new processes and technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develops, maintains, and improves a Change framework, which includes methodologies and templates.
- Oversees the creation of change management strategies.
- Conduct impact analyses, change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness, identifying and managing engagement and readiness risks.
- Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
- Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.
- Complete change management assessments.
- Leads the development and implementation of sets of actionable and targeted change management strategies and tactics and manages a structured CM activity plan, based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
- Develops and leads community engagement plans to ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement and visibility in solution design.
- Develops communication efforts: lead the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.
- Develops capabilities of transition end users to advance and support CM objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of Change Management exp - have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Conducts discussions with and writes memoranda to all levels of colleagues and peer groups in ways that support troubleshooting and problem-solving.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Experience with IT Service Management, and ITIL principles is an asset.
