Concord, Canada Monte Carlo Inn Vaughan Suites Full time

As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will be expected to work a minimum of 5 days per week including weekends.
- The employee acknowledges and agrees that as a member of the supervisory staff she is not eligible to receive overtime compensation.
- Reporting to work on time for scheduled work hours.
- Conforming to the hotel’s established standards of dress, grooming and personal hygiene as it pertains to supervisory staff.
- Inspect and ensure that brand standards are met in all housekeeping areas.
- Uphold the highest level of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, employee areas and hotel grounds.
- Under the supervision of the Hotel Management, conduct orientation and training of new housekeepers to explain policies, procedures and to demonstrate the use of equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Under the supervision of the Hotel Management, monitor inventory stock and make recommendations to management in respect to ordering required products.
- Make recommendations to the Hotel Management to improve service and efficiency.
- Communicate to the Front Desk Staff/Supervisor and Management Team regarding room status.
- Under the supervision of the Hotel Management, Maintain and Record additional work assignments for the housekeeping staff.
- Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, investigate complaints regarding housekeeping and communicate this information to the Hotel Manager.
- Supervise and/or perform Laundry duties as required.
- Examine hotel to determine need for repairs and/or replacement and make the necessary recommendations to management.
- Motivate and foster a positive team atmosphere within the Housekeeping Department and Hotel as a whole.
- Ensure yearly special cleaning projects are completed.

17. Attend all training sessions and meetings as required.

18. Ensure health and safety procedures and proper use of chemicals and cleaning supplies are adhered to.
- Maintain strong communication skills with customers and co-workers.
- Inspect all the Guest rooms cleaned on daily basis.
- Other duties as are assigned

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
