As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will be expected to work a minimum of 5 days per week including weekends.

  • The employee acknowledges and agrees that as a member of the supervisory staff she is not eligible to receive overtime compensation.
  • Reporting to work on time for scheduled work hours.
  • Conforming to the hotel’s established standards of dress, grooming and personal hygiene as it pertains to supervisory staff.
  • Inspect and ensure that brand standards are met in all housekeeping areas.
  • Uphold the highest level of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, employee areas and hotel grounds.
  • Under the supervision of the Hotel Management, conduct orientation and training of new housekeepers to explain policies, procedures and to demonstrate the use of equipment and cleaning solutions.
  • Under the supervision of the Hotel Management, monitor inventory stock and make recommendations to management in respect to ordering required products.
  • Make recommendations to the Hotel Management to improve service and efficiency.
  • Communicate to the Front Desk Staff/Supervisor and Management Team regarding room status.
  • Under the supervision of the Hotel Management, Maintain and Record additional work assignments for the housekeeping staff.
  • Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, investigate complaints regarding housekeeping and communicate this information to the Hotel Manager.
  • Supervise and/or perform Laundry duties as required.
  • Examine hotel to determine need for repairs and/or replacement and make the necessary recommendations to management.
  • Motivate and foster a positive team atmosphere within the Housekeeping Department and Hotel as a whole.
  • Ensure yearly special cleaning projects are completed.
  • Attend all training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures and proper use of chemicals and cleaning supplies are adhered to.
  • Maintain strong communication skills with customers and co-workers.
  • Inspect all the Guest rooms cleaned on daily basis.
  • Other duties as are assigned

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 44 per week
