CNC Machinist

**$25.00 to $30.00 per hour (based on experience and skill)**

**Job Summary**:Manufacturing company seeking CNC Machinist.

**Location**: Bowmanville, ON

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 4:30PM

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform day-to-day setup and operation of CNC Vertical Machining Center and/or CNC Horizontal Boring Mill.
- Read process sheets and setup tooling and parts for efficient machining.
- Perform functions such as milling, drilling, boring, and dimensional inspection as per drawing specifications to a high level of accuracy and precision.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines.
- Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years custom machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate machines with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and part specifications.
- Ability to use an overhead crane, handling material up to 4,000 lbs.
- Ability to use measuring equipment.
- Experience operating a forklift is an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
