We're looking for 1 or 2 people to join our team The Harvest Deli is a neighbourhood fixture in Kitsilano and has been around for nearly 15 years. We are proud to serve locally sourced, sustainable, and organic food to our community and are looking for a counter attendant / general helper around the front and back of house

This position requires you to attend orders at the counter, to maintain dining room cleanliness, to assist in basic coffe and drink preparations, and to help maintain facility cleanliness.

English fluency is required, and good communication is preferable as you will be doing most of the customer interactions.

Any barista experience is appreciated But we're also happy to teach novice coffe lovers

*Responsibilities*
- Assist customers in ordering, food pick-ups, and payment.
- Prepare Coffees, teas, Smoothies, and other deli items according to customer requests
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining room areas
- Follow food safety protocols at all times
- Serving food, wrapping orders
- Dishes

*Qualifications*
- Prior experience in a deli, kitchen, or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with cashiering duties is a plus
- Barista Experience of any kind,

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
