The Granite Club is looking for an energetic and engaging part time Recreation Attendant who will be responsible for overseeing the key area of Recreation; the Sportzone, Granite Common and the Hub, while providing an enjoyable experience for the Members that come to utilize these facilities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supervision and safety of all members in the Sportzone, the Hub and the Granite Common.
- Promote events, programs, classes for the Recreation Department.
- Provide outstanding customer service to our Membership.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Engaging Members in activities, organizing game play and creating a fun atmosphere for all Members utilizing the space.
- Regular input, feedback, and communication with supervisory staff regarding operational enhancement of the Recreation Department
- Various administrative tasks including monitoring the front desks, answering phone calls, taking care of registrations for classes and RPOS charges for Members.
- Punctual opening and closing of facility, utilizing appropriate security procedures and departmental standards.
- The ability to teach Sport Programs, Camps and Community Programs

Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Recreation & Leisure Services or a related area of study from a recognized college or university.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the Recreation industry.
- Experience in facilitating and leading camps, instructing sports and community programs.
- Current Standard First Aid C certification.
- Computer proficiency in Google & Microsoft Office
- Experience using Northstar and Inmotion is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Team and service oriented, enthusiastic, co-operative, reliable, creative, well-groomed.

Work Schedule
- Must be available to work weekends, weekdays and/or holidays, AM and PM.
