Job Description: The Sales & Production Planning department’s key objective is to provide the proper product mix for our dealer network by supporting the production, wholesale, and retail plan for our Powersports and Power Equipment products. The incumbent is responsible for the supervising, co-coordinating, assigning and reviewing of work, and leading the MCPE Sales & Production team to meet key departmental initiatives.

The incumbent must be able to resolve unique situations and maintain a safe, secure, and productive work environment in adherence to Honda guidelines and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Monitor sales, inventory, and demand to make recommendations to Management to optimize production and ensure sufficient inventory levels
- Manage Analysts in maintaining a balanced product mix by forecasting and fulfilling orders
- Present to Sr. Executives in the monthly Niguri meeting and North American Seihan meeting, with the objective of getting approval related to the retail, supply and wholesale plans required to support the business
- Prepare quarterly budget targets for retail, supply and wholesale and monitor to ensure objectives and profit targets are met
- Ensure monthly CAP-DO for department objectives are completed and presented to Management
- Act as the lead and represent S&PP in meetings with Logistics, Product Planning and Sales
- Assist Manager in developing long term departmental strategic plans and support the goals and objectives as set out in the current Ki
- Develop, mentor and provide career coaching for S&PP associates. Conduct associate performance evaluations. Hire, orient and ensure proper training for new S&PP associates

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in business or related discipline is required
- 3+ years of experience in a team lead, project lead, supervisory role or equivalent experience
- Leadership, critical thinking, time and priority management skills
- Well-developed presentation, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are required
- Ability to set daily goals and objectives, track results and react
