We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Technician/Bookkeeper to join our growing team at Mundi Hotel Enterprises Inc. The individual must be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to take on additional responsibilities. The individual shall be reporting to the CFO and have the below mentioned duties for the companies assigned to them.

**Job Duties**
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts and ensure legal and government requirements are in compliance for multiple companies.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, balance sub-ledgers to reconcile accounts, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Reconciling cash receipts between billing software to bank account.
- Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, discuss with management, and provide recommendations.
- Calculate and upload information for payroll.
- Prepare payments for utility, tax and other bills.
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Completion of a college program or certification in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or experience as a financial or accounting clerk is preferred.
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Knowledge of an accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, Xero) and payroll systems (Ceridian, ADP) is an asset.
