**_We are currently seeking Hospitality Security Guards to join our team in working various event, retail, commercial and other security positions. _**

**Responsibilities of a Hospitality Security Guard include**:

- Secure all entrances, exits and common areas of the establishment
- Greet guests upon arrival
- Monitor event for potential disturbances of guests
- Ensure safety and wellbeing of patrons and employees
- Diffuse any guest situations/altercations, should they arise, using non-aggressive tactics and calling 911 when necessary
- Maintain a professional appearance, in accordance with the Company’s dress code
- Complete incident reports as required
- Remain alert and vigilant while on duty

**Key Skills & Abilities**
- The ability to remain professional and courteous even in challenging situations
- Confidence when handling conflict situations and making quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Working Conditions**
- Hours and shifts may vary
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 1+ Years in Security, Bouncing or equivalent considered an asset
- Valid BST Certification
- Valid AST Certification considered an asset
- Valid OFA 1, 2 considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Seasonal

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
