**Liquor Store Sales Associate**

**Position Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Comply with product related regulations
- Interact with customers, provide product information
- Stay updated on current product specifications
- Properly display, merchandize and promote current products
- Participating in inventory management, including counts, as needed
- Receiving inventory orders and repacking SKUs from time to time
- Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal age
- Complete transactions by using POS/accepting payment and returning change and/or receipt to client
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
- Willingness to learn and improve on product knowledge as well as sales training

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Be at least 19 years of age
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with the public
- Be able to provide excellent customer service and positive customer interactions
- Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-25 kg boxes
- Be able to demonstrate aptitude for cashier related duties, including calculations and inventory management
- Have a valid _Serving It Right _Certificate (BC)
- In addition to daytime shifts, be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays; hours of work may vary each week; standard operating hours are 9:00am - 11:00pm

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

- Port Moody, BC V3H 2B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales (preferred)
- Customer service (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)

- Night Shift (preferred)
