Catholic Social Service's Children, Family & Community Service is currently looking for 3 Donation Aide Volunteers.

**If you are someone who enjoys doing good in the community & connecting with others, then this volunteer placement might be the right fit for you**

**What you can expect**:

- Sort and organize donated items in donation area
- Regularly report on items needed and /or items of excess
- Keep donations in the shelter organized and the area tidy and free of clutter
- Dispose of expired toiletries, outdated items and items that are worm or in poor condition
- Move donations into established bins and labelling bins when required, moving bins to established locations
- Make list of donations and doing inventory when requested
- Have Fun

**Desired Skills/Abilities**:

- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and to be able to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to sort and move donations as well as lift boxes that weigh up to 20 pounds
- Assist with doing inventory of donations and updating records if required
- Willingness to travel to central Edmonton and north east Edmonton shelter locations
