Farmers Market Sales Representative

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Farmers Market Sales Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking with people, working outdoors, and supporting a growing local brand. You’ll manage our booth setup, engage customers, offer samples, and drive sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and take down booth materials including tables, tents, signage, and products
- Greet market visitors and provide samples with engaging product knowledge
- Answer customer questions and explain product features and uses
- Process sales using mobile POS systems - Square
- Maintain a clean and organized booth throughout the day
- Track inventory and report sales at the end of each market
- Represent the Island Heat brand with professionalism and enthusiasm

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or food sales preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time
- Physically able to lift 40lbs and stand for 4-6 hours outdoors
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Interest in food, spice, and small business a plus

Schedule & Availability
- Saturdays only
- Shifts are typically 5-6 hours

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 21 weeks

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
