**The Opportunity**:
The Office Services Administrator is responsible for quality, productivity and timeliness of work to ensure efficient and effective distribution of office mail to internal departments and the completion of daily administrative tasks.
**How you will contribute**:
- Working in a team environment to perform day-to-day administrative tasks collectively with team members
- Complete all administrative tasks by specified timelines
- Complete end-of-day department processes and reporting
- Provides office support to all internal business departments - (cerloxing, photocopying, scanning, mailings and caterings)
- Supports department in data entry of inbound and outbound mail /couriers in a timely manner
- Manages the office supplies to ensure resources are available when needed
- Liaison with internal business partners for new employee hires, employee departures and equipment return
- Perform general office duties -stock office supplies in copy stations, supply and maintain dedicated café, meeting rooms and common areas
- Completes service requests through the office services portal in a timely manner
- Departmental support with reception coverage - greet visitors, book boardroom meetings and answer and transfer calls and complete administrative tasks while covering reception
- Participate in team building activities and division events
- Completes special projects as assigned by Manager
**The experience you need**:
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- Previous office experience required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, structured and team-based environment
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to perform light physical tasks (i.e. bending, reaching, lifting, pushing for short distances)
**Working Environment and Physical Demands Analysis**:
- Office environment
- Periods of high volume with tight timelines
- Long periods of stationary position/sitting
- Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)
- Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen
- Multi-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer program
