We are looking for an **Accounting Manager** who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department of our US entity and manage a small team of 2.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

- Quarter end and year end processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger including the reconciliation of controlled accounts.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Process intercompany transactions.
- Maintain foreign exchange transactions.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Participate in external annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

**Requirements**:

- Management experience of a small team
- Advanced computer skills for MS Office, and especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of intercompany transactions.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct, supervise and mentor team members.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ideally accredited with accounting credentials.
- NetSuite experience is an asset.
