**Overview**
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive **Office Administrator** to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and takes pride in being the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The role encompasses reception duties, administrative support, shipping documentation, filing, and light inventory management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Welcome and direct visitors, manage front-desk sign-ins, and notify appropriate staff of guest arrivals
- Answer incoming phone calls, forward messages, and screen out spam calls
- Prepare shipping documents including labels and packing slips; match and organize documentation for outgoing shipments
- Schedule courier pickups and coordinate with UPS, Purolator, and other carriers for sending and receiving packages
- Maintain organized filing systems for customer orders, invoices, and packing slips; support year-end document archiving and file cabinet upkeep
- Accept card payments in person (no processing required)
- Manage and monitor office supply inventory using Excel checklists; place supply orders and organize inventory areas
- Distribute office supplies such as pens, markers, and other stationary items to team members upon request
- Label product samples accurately using pre-formatted templates
- Assist with reviewing and verifying customer order details when needed, ensuring consistency with internal records
- Perform various ad hoc administrative tasks and provide general office support to team members as needed

**Experience**
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not mandatory; relevant internships or volunteer work will be considered.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and office procedures is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Proficient in customer service practices with a focus on client relations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
