**Parts Specialist**
- Source, negotiate and develop new and strong vendor relations
- Analyze and establish proper inventory levels that minimize carrying costs
- Lead negotiation of pricing and parts issues including terms, freight, customs & insurances
- Initiate and manage purchase orders & amendments for parts and services
- Develop a supply base that can react to changing business needs
- Ensuring parts availability and tracking expedited items as required
- Shipping and receiving
- Source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the company’s needs
- Assist in developing new structure to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain and organize all related filing systems
- Practice exceptional customer service
- Other procurement administrative duties as required
- Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary
- Ideally have five (5) years relevant work experience in the heavy equipment industry
- Valid Driver's Licence with a current and clean Driver's Abstract

**Wage**
- 20-25 hr based on experience

**Shift**

Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- Val Caron, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Parts Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Heavy Duty Equpment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred)

Work Location: One location
