The Product Manager, B2B Monitor & Hospitality Display is responsible to drive the product related business decisions for B2B Monitor & Hospitality Display into B2B channels over the life cycle of the product. This includes total ownership of driving product strategy into the market and owner for Monthly Sales Targets and Profitability of the product. The Product Manager will be a liaison between EBD Sales, SCM, Service and GBM teams for all product related matters.

This role will also provide ongoing Business Analyst functions Data and Market Analysis to the Enterprise Business Division, facilitating strategy development through the creation and management of various market and internal data sources. Responsible for managing of the quarterly and yearly business planning process and reporting progress to Samsung Electronics Canada (SECA) Leadership, NA HQ and GBM as required. Activities, projects and reporting will include internal interaction with all levels and departments of the organization. This role will monitor, analyze and provide reports and recommendations for Sales, Product Management team and Sales Operations based on the division priorities.

Role and Responsibilities
- Samsung B2B Monitor & Hospitality Display Product Marketing to B2B channel and end-customer
- Report directly to Display Category Head
- Ensure new product information is shared with SECA IT team
- Single source of information for any product related matter
- Major window of communication between Local Office and HQ
- Full ownership of Discounts, Sales Deductions, MSRP and marketing spends and P/L
- Own Management Plan Target and define strategies to achieve the target
- Analysis for developing short, mid, longer term strategy in support of the division
- Prepare Industry/Market Analysis

Product Management Essential Duties and Responsibilities (80% of the role):

- Responsible for monthly revenue and profitability target of B2B Monitor & Hospitality Display.
- Monthly projection of B2B Monitor & Hospitality Display Sales Revenue in coordination with Sales team.
- Monthly review of competitors’ activities in market and take necessary action to re-align the strategy.
- Product positioning based on Samsung’s guideline and competitive landscape of Canadian Market.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Team to ensure efficient product supply to the channel.
- Responsible for 3 months rolling forecast in a timely manner to ensure proper factory allocation.
- Oversee Sales Forecast (AP1) in consensus with Product Marketing Forecast (AP2) on weekly basis.
- Develop, deploy and B2B Monitor & Hospitality Display progress of marketing programs into market place.
- Monthly submission of next 3 months’ plan based on sell-thru results and future sales plans.
- Conduct periodic product trainings to internal sales team as well as reseller (if required).
- Share NEW product information with the Sales Team and Channel Partners prior to launch.
- Develop and communicate new product launch plans 3 months prior to actual launching date.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products for the Canadian market, product positioning, price positioning, promotions, Sales channel strategy and target verticals.
- Work with various departments for successful execution and follow-through in Sales, Channel Marketing, Marcom, SCM, GBM, Service, etc.

Business Analyst Essential Duties and Responsibilities (20% of the role):

- Direct analysis for developing short, mid, longer term strategy in support of the division
- Sales analysis by product category and sales channel
- Prepare Industry/Market Analysis
- Macro trends analyses; Global, Industry and Canadian market trends
- Competitor Analysis(Competitive Landscape reporting to Leadership team)
