About This Role

In addition to leading purchasing activities, the Sourcing Lead supports the development, communication and execution of commodity strategies and/or other projects (e.g., process optimization), as well as supplier relationship management activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Order Management:
- Follow up on orders to ensure timely deliveries.- Issue purchase order follow-ups to ensure correct pricing, terms, and specifications.- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Data Management:
- Input data into ERP tools (e.g., Oracle).- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory.- Analyze purchase requests for accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Supplier Management:
- Negotiate pricing specific to purchase order needs.- Work cross-functionally to address quality and obsolescence issues.- Support supplier relationships and performance.- Maintain supplier scorecards.
- Strategic Procurement:
- Develop and execute medium complexity purchasing strategies for favorable pricing and/or improved T&Cs.- Provide recommendations to internal stakeholders.- Lead sourcing initiatives and manage supplier selection.- Support the development, communication, and execution of commodity strategies.- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
