**About Nova Medical Testing Inc.**

**Role Overview**

This position will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to support the development of novel LC-MS-based solutions for metabolomics and lipidomics. This position will work closely with a team of scientists and researchers to identify and evaluate new targets, develop new assays, and optimize existing protocols.

**Responsibilities**
- Acquire a thorough understanding of the company’s technologies, methods, and products along with its R&D strategies and objectives.
- Develop innovative technologies and research ideas in LC-MS, metabolomics, and lipidomics, while identifying understudied topics from authoritative publications.
- Oversee the planning, initiation, execution, and management of new product/method formulations.
- Maintain meticulous records and summarize all project work in formal reports, following the company’s project management standards.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external researchers, users, and clients.
- Prepare documentation for publications or patents as required.
- Perform routine office activities and additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

**Skill and Qualifications**
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or other relevant fields.
- At least one year of experience with mass spectrometry, preferably with metabolomics, lipidomics, or proteomics.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
